Prior to her career in Acupuncture she worked in biotechnology doing organic chemistry research. She has also lived in New York City and Germany.
She lives with her two children, enjoys being active outside, dancing, as well as vegan cooking and baking. |

Dr. Julia Walls is an award-winning doctor of Acupuncture and Asian Medicine. Bringing over a decade of experience to this new practice. She is a native Oregonian, having attended the University of Oregon, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and an Master's degree in Organic Chemistry. She also holds both Master's and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Oregon College of Acupuncture and Pacific College of Health Sciences respectively.

Qingmei (Maggie) Zhang is our newest acupuncturist, licensed in Oregon and nationally certified in the United States. She completed her medical education at Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, a leading institution for Traditional Chinese Medicine, and previously practiced in a hospital setting in Beijing for several years, gaining extensive clinical experience across a wide range of conditions. Her integrative background aligns well with our clinic’s collaborative, patient-centered approach.
Her professional training includes acupuncture and Asian herbal medicine, and she is passionate about helping patients restore balance, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being through individualized, compassionate care. Maggie moved to the United States with her husband three years ago and enjoys hiking, biking, and spending time with her family outside of clinic. |
